Hello my friends.
I hope life is treating you well.

This month’s special feature is project that is created from my interest in mixed martial arts and the exposure vast potential of the “Pearl of the Orient Seas” the Philippines. For the time being we will call it “Mashup Web TV.” The connection is the search for diverse content while focusing on a specific subject.

Although my presentation may not have the clean design of some websites it is a representation of where the web will be going as we integrate video, news, images, audio, and database information to create cohesive portals for the niche information that individuals want. The current term being used to describe such sites is “Mashup.” The name is quite appropriate since what is happing is many sources of information are being mashed together to make one cohesive body of information.

I believe my primitive example represent not what big corporation thinks we want to see but what other people like me what to see. That is why the future of such pages like blogs will be created by individuals rather than being feed to us through a corporate machine. There are

already many companies out there making tools the average person can use to surf and “clip” information later be presented in a cohesive forum like a blog or social network page.

This trend is strongly being supported in the industry with development of all forms of syndication of content by web feeds and video embed cods, gadgets, widgets, and other API applications. This is only a beginning of possibilities. If you have not tried IGoogle it is a great way to build your own working web page.
